Swimming

Last Saturday we had to skip swim class cause both of the girls had a virus that gave them the hives, how fun that was. Well we are not totally over the hives thing yet but they do not get them as often as they did in the begining. After skipping a week of class Meredith all of a sudden became scared of the diving board and Maison was fearless. Meredith was half crying the whole walk to the end and another teacher had to walk behind her and hand her off the end. While Maison walked right to the end with Fred behind her and jumped right in to her teacher (the first time). The second and third time Fred had to give her a little nudge. They both love it tho. I have some pictures of them in the pool but god forbid I would know how to put them on here. I will get right on that tho.

They both love to go outside and play a ton now that the weather is nice. I wish it would just keep getting nicer but I know better. On Sunday they saw our neighbor Ellenor outside so we had to hurry so we could go out and play with her. They had a blast playing with bubbles and running around in the mud. Our lawns are terrible right now, but it does not bother them one bit. Once the weather gets really nice we need to all plan a picnic in the park!!!

Singing & Playing

Yesterday I started singing "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me". Just once I said it, and then Meredith would not stop singing it. I told her that mommy shouldn't have sang that song cause it didn't sound right comming out of a four year olds mouth. She told me "but mom, Alvin sings it when he's taking a shower in the dishwasher!!!" How do I tell her she can't sing it but Alvin and The Chipmunks can? Why do they always have to make sense?

As Maison gets older and understands more, it is so cool to watch her and Meredith play together. Meredith will say to Maison, "come on lets go in your room" and they just take off. Meredith doesn't have to pull her buy her arm anymore to get her to go where she wants her too. That means trouble is sure to follow sooner or later:) But they get along so great~ I just love to sit back and just watch and listen to them play.

Money & Potty

The girls are really into money right now. Meredith loves to get her piggy bank out and play with her money, while Maison tries to take it from her and saying "money, money, money!!!" Meredith heard a commercial yesterday for the boat show being in town, and now she keeps telling me that she wants a boat. I told her they cost a lot of money. So she told me that with her money and Maisons money they are going to buy a boat this summer. I keep telling her that its just not enough to get a boat, but I don't think I am going to win this one.

Maison is obsessed with the potty. Every time you change her diaper shes saying "potty, potty". She WILL NOT let you put her new diaper back on until you let her sit on the potty. Whenever someone opens the door to the bathroom shes there saying "potty!" And if you have to go~ so does she. I should love that she wants to use the potty now but, all she does when she gets on the potty is grabs some toilet paper and shove it down in the bowl. Just seems like a waste of time and toilet paper, but if it helps with the training of this one I am all for it.
